The Gauntlet
The Gauntlet is a personal self-defense device that gives power to those under personal duress and experiencing threats to their safety. When worn on the back of a special glove, a user can defend themselves with a double tap on the red button deploying a powerful pepper spray mix, which includes a dye that will brand offenders should they escape the scene. Simultaneously, a high pithced alarm wil sound to alert people in the area the user is in trouble.
When the red button is held down, it will send an alert to first responders of the user’s location.
Branding
With the Gauntlet concept and capabilities solidified, it was time for branding. I designed something visually strong and attractive to represent the brand that I could envision on boxes and billboards.
Filming/Green Screen
Utilizing a green screen, I created lo-fi graphics for the Gauntlet “commercial”, simulating pepper spray. ink dye branding, alarms, and GPS location capabilities
